- Utilize advanced technology and software to assist in appraisals and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate with property owners, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to gather information and answer questions related to property value and assessment.
- Proactively identify and investigate potential discrepancies or errors in property records and assessments.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in state and federal laws, regulations, and industry standards related to property appraisal.
- Collaborate with other team members to establish and maintain fair and equitable property taxation practices.
- Prepare and present clear and concise appraisal reports to stakeholders, including property owners and local authorities.
- Attend and participate in training and professional development opportunities to constantly improve skills and knowledge.
- Represent the State of Texas in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with the public and other agencies.
- Adhere to strict ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of all appraisal information.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of appraisal methods and procedures and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in the development of departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines related to property appraisal.
- Serve as a resource and provide guidance to other team members on complex appraisal issues.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Bachelor's Degree In Real Estate, Finance, Or A Related Field.
State Certification Or License As A Certified General Real Estate Appraiser.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Commercial Real Estate Appraisal.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards, Laws, And Regulations Related To Commercial Appraisal.
Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret And Analyze Complex Data.
