
Behavioral Health Assistant

- Work closely with mental health professionals to provide support and assistance to individuals with behavioral health issues.
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans for clients.
- Monitor and document clients' progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed.
- Assist in conducting group therapy sessions and activities.
- Advocate for clients' rights and needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with clients.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on clients' progress and treatment plans.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of clients' treatment and progress.
- Continuously educate oneself on new developments and techniques in the behavioral health field.
- Serve as a positive role model for clients and promote a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations and laws related to behavioral health.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients and staff.
- Attend training and workshops to improve skills and knowledge.
- Foster a positive and professional work culture within the team.
- Uphold the mission and values of the organization.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and their families.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Behavioral Health Setting.
Knowledge Of Mental Health Disorders And Treatment Modalities.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
