- Develop and implement a comprehensive state-wide Alzheimer's disease program, including identifying areas of need, designing and executing initiatives, and evaluating outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies to ensure coordinated and effective delivery of services.
- Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in Alzheimer's disease treatment and care.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of healthcare professionals working on the program.
- Develop and manage program budget, including identifying and securing funding sources.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, including advocacy groups and support organizations for families and caregivers.
- Organize and facilitate training and educational programs for healthcare professionals and community members.
- Develop and implement strategies for increasing awareness and understanding of Alzheimer's disease and available resources.
- Monitor program progress and outcomes, and make adjustments as needed to ensure success.
- Serve as a spokesperson for the program, representing the state of Texas in local, state, and national forums.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets to promote program initiatives and raise awareness.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to Alzheimer's disease programs.
- Prepare and present reports to government officials and other stakeholders, highlighting program successes and impact.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
- Stay abreast of changes and developments in healthcare policy and regulations and make recommendations for program adjustments as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Management, Social Work, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Program Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
In-Depth Knowledge And Understanding Of Alzheimer's Disease And Related Dementias.
Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Manage A Team.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Collaborate With Stakeholders And Represent The Program To The Public.
