
Administrator for Food & Nutrition (Compliance)

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all food and nutrition regulations and guidelines set by the state.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of food and nutrition programs to ensure they are meeting regulatory requirements and providing quality services to residents.
- Collaborate with various departments and agencies to promote healthy and nutritious food options and educate the community on the importance of proper nutrition.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations for program enhancements.
- Train and educate staff on compliance regulations and policies related to food and nutrition.
- Investigate and resolve any complaints or issues related to food and nutrition compliance.
- Stay up-to-date on current and changing regulations and policies related to food and nutrition and ensure that all programs are in compliance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as food suppliers and community organizations, to ensure the success of food and nutrition programs.
- Prepare reports and presentations on compliance and program effectiveness for management and state officials.
- Collaborate with other administrators and departments to develop and implement strategies for improving food and nutrition services across the state.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all compliance activities and reports.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of food and nutrition compliance efforts.
- Represent the state at meetings, conferences, and events related to food and nutrition compliance.
- Communicate with residents and stakeholders to address any concerns or questions related to food and nutrition compliance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on food and nutrition compliance for the state and provide guidance and support to other departments and agencies as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Food Science, Public Health Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Food And Nutrition Compliance, Preferably In A Government Setting.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Food And Nutrition, Including Fda And Usda Guidelines.
Strong Organizational And Analytical Skills, With Attention To Detail And Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Various Stakeholders And Agencies.
