Job Description

  1. Process and review invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
  2. Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  3. Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices and expenses to vendors and suppliers.
  4. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.
  5. Communicate and collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve any issues or concerns.
  6. Follow established policies and procedures for accounts payable processing.
  7. Conduct regular audits of accounts payable processes to identify and address any errors or inefficiencies.
  8. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes as needed.
  9. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to accounts payable.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  11. Train and mentor new team members as needed.
  12. Report any suspected fraudulent activity or discrepancies to management.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline accounts payable processes.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  15. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Accounts Payable Or Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Gaap) And Financial Processes.

  • Proficiency In Computer Software And Applications, Including Microsoft Excel And Accounting Software.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Process And Analyze Financial Data.
