
LEAD PSYCHIATRIC TECHNICIAN

- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of psychiatric technicians.
- Utilize knowledge of psychiatric disorders to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other mental health professionals.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Train and mentor new psychiatric technicians.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Follow all state and federal laws and regulations regarding patient care and confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of facility policies and procedures.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Stay current on developments and advancements in the field of mental health.
- Uphold the mission and values of the State of Tennessee and the facility.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions.
Valid License As A Licensed Practical Nurse (Lpn) Or Registered Nurse (Rn) In The State Of Tennessee.
Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience In A Psychiatric Setting, Preferably As A Lead Or Supervisory Role.
Knowledge Of Mental Health Disorders And Treatment Modalities, Including Medication Administration And Behavior Management Techniques.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Train A Team Of Psychiatric Technicians.
Familiarity With State And Federal Regulations For Mental Health Facilities, Including Documentation And Reporting Requirements.
