EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PLANNER 2

1. Develop and implement emergency management plans to prepare for and respond to potential disasters and emergencies.
2. Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure seamless and effective emergency response efforts.
3. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities within the state.
4. Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and prioritize critical infrastructure and resources for emergency response.
5. Ensure compliance with state and federal emergency management regulations and guidelines.
6. Monitor and analyze emergency response data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future plans.
7. Participate in trainings, drills, and exercises to test and evaluate emergency response plans.
8. Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and best practices in emergency management and incorporate them into planning efforts.
9. Provide guidance and assistance to local emergency management agencies and first responders.
10. Support and assist in the coordination of disaster relief operations as needed.
11. Serve as a point of contact for emergency management issues and communicate updates to relevant parties.
12. Mentor and train junior emergency management staff.
13. Stay informed of current and potential threats to the state and develop strategies to mitigate them.
14. Represent the state's emergency management team at meetings, conferences, and other events.
15. Continuously assess and improve emergency management plans and procedures to ensure the safety and security of Tennessee's citizens.
