CORRECTIONAL OFFICER 2

1. Maintain the safety and security of the correctional facility by closely monitoring inmates, conducting routine searches, and responding to emergencies.
2. Provide supervision and guidance to inmates, ensuring they adhere to facility rules and regulations.
3. Conduct daily inspections of the facility and report any security concerns or violations.
4. Possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with inmates, staff, and visitors.
5. Demonstrate problem-solving skills to handle difficult situations and de-escalate conflicts.
6. Participate in training programs to maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, and best practices in corrections.
7. Monitor inmate behavior and report any unusual or suspicious activities.
8. Conduct regular checks on inmate living areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
9. Maintain accurate and detailed records of inmate activities and incidents.
10. Continuously assess and evaluate inmate behavior and progress to support rehabilitation efforts.
11. Collaborate with other correctional staff to maintain a cohesive and safe working environment.
12. Adhere to all departmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
