
ASSOCIATE GENERAL COUNSEL

- Provide legal support and guidance to various state agencies, boards, and commissions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of state policies and procedures.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, legislation, and policies.
- Advise on legal matters related to state operations, including employment, procurement, and regulatory issues.
- Represent the state in legal proceedings and negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address legal issues and resolve disputes.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations that may affect state operations.
- Provide training and guidance to state employees on legal matters.

Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.
Active Membership In Good Standing With The Tennessee State Bar Association.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience Practicing Law, Preferably In A Government Or Corporate Setting.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Tennessee State Laws And Regulations.
