Welcome to the State of Oregon's Youth Integrated Behavioral Health Care Program and Policy Coordinator position! As the coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and programs that integrate mental health services into primary care for youth.   1. Develop and implement policies and programs that integrate mental health services into primary care for youth.
  2. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including state agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations, to ensure a comprehensive and effective approach to youth behavioral health care.
  3. Conduct research and gather data to inform the development and implementation of policies and programs.
  4. Keep abreast of current trends and best practices in youth behavioral health care and make recommendations for improvements and updates to existing policies and programs.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders to promote the program and coordinate efforts.
  6. Provide leadership and guidance to program staff and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  7. Monitor program outcomes and make adjustments as needed to ensure success.
  8. Develop and manage budgets for the program and ensure responsible use of resources.
  9. Collaborate with other state agencies and departments to integrate services and resources for youth.
  10. Represent the program and the state at conferences, meetings, and other events to promote awareness and engagement.
  11. Advocate for the needs of youth in behavioral health care at the state and national level.
  12. Develop and maintain partnerships with academic institutions to support research and evaluation of program effectiveness.
  13. Stay informed of relevant legislation, policies, and regulations related to youth behavioral health care and make recommendations for compliance.
  14. Support the recruitment and retention of qualified staff for the program.
  15. Develop and maintain program evaluation tools and processes to measure outcomes and identify areas for improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Developing And Implementing Integrated Behavioral Health Care Programs For Youth.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Policies And Regulations Related To Behavioral Health Care And Youth Services.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Collaborate With Multiple Stakeholders, Including Youth, Families, Government Agencies, And Community Organizations.

  • Experience In Program Evaluation And Data Analysis To Assess The Effectiveness And Impact Of Integrated Behavioral Health Care Programs For Youth.
