- Serve as the primary point of contact for all transportation inquiries and concerns from the public, providing timely and accurate information and assistance.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of transportation policies, procedures, and regulations in order to effectively address customer needs.
- Utilize excellent customer service skills to create a positive and welcoming environment for all customers.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of current and upcoming transportation projects and initiatives in order to inform and educate the public.
- Respond to and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience.
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with special transportation needs or accommodations.
- Utilize various communication channels including phone, email, and in-person interactions to assist customers.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline transportation services for the community.
- Follow all state and departmental policies and procedures to ensure confidentiality and data security.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In The Transportation Industry, Preferably In A Customer Service Or Representative Role.
Knowledge Of Transportation Regulations And Procedures, Including But Not Limited To Safety Regulations, Licensing Requirements, And Compliance Standards.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With A Diverse Range Of Customers And Stakeholders.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Responsibilities In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Proficiency In Computer Systems And Software, With The Ability To Learn And Navigate New Programs And Databases.
