  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of laws, policies, and procedures through data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
  7. Draft and review legal documents, including legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  8. Communicate and collaborate with other agencies, departments, and external organizations to coordinate efforts and ensure consistency in laws, policies, and procedures.
  9. Train and educate staff on new or updated laws, policies, and procedures to ensure understanding and compliance.
  10. Represent the agency in meetings, hearings, and other forums to provide expertise on laws, policies, and procedures.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of laws, policies, and procedures and their revisions.
  12. Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures for developing and implementing laws, policies, and procedures.
  13. Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all aspects of work.
  14. Stay informed about emerging trends and developments in law, policy, and procedure to inform decision making and provide recommendations for improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Public Policy, Law, Political Science, Or Criminal Justice.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Developing And Implementing Statewide Laws, Policies, And Procedures.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Laws And Regulations Related To The Specific Area Of Focus For The Position.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Information To A Variety Of Audiences.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Project Management, Including The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously And Meet Deadlines.
