  1. Greet and welcome clients to the State of Oregon with a positive and friendly attitude.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Educate clients on various state services and programs and assist in navigating the application process.
  4. Listen actively and empathetically to clients' needs and concerns and offer appropriate solutions.
  5. Maintain a thorough understanding of state policies, procedures, and resources to accurately answer client inquiries.
  6. Accurately input and update client information in databases and records.
  7. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  8. Handle a high volume of inquiries and prioritize tasks to meet service level agreements.
  9. Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate departments or supervisors.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve customer service processes and procedures.
  11. Adhere to confidentiality and security protocols when handling sensitive client information.
  12. Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on state services and policies.
  13. Keep accurate records of client interactions and provide reports as needed.
  14. Represent the State of Oregon in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Service Representative Should Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Communicate With Customers And Colleagues.

  • Customer Service Experience: Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role Is Highly Desirable For A Service Representative Position. This Can Include Experience In Retail, Hospitality, Or Call Center Environments.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Service Representatives Must Be Able To Think Quickly And Creatively To Resolve Customer Issues And Complaints.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Service Representative, Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Order To Accurately Record And Maintain Customer Information And Transactions.

  • Computer Proficiency: Service Representatives Should Be Comfortable Using Computer Programs And Software, As Well As Navigating Multiple Screens And Tabs While Assisting Customers. Experience With Data Entry And Customer Relationship Management (Crm) Software Is A Plus.
