
Service Desk Technician
The State of Oregon is looking for an experienced Service Desk Technician to join our team. We are seeking an individual who has the technical and customer service skills necessary to provide outstanding support to our staff. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong understanding of computer systems and networks. This individual should be a team player with a passion for helping others and a commitment to providing superior customer service. Responsibilities: • Provide technical support and customer service to staff • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues • Manage computer systems and networks • Install and configure Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite • Ensure proper functioning and security of systems and networks • Provide assistance in resolving system issues and user errors • Monitor system performance and security • Recommend solutions to enhance system performance • Assist in the development of user documentation and training materials • Maintain accurate records of user requests and system repairs • Respond to user inquiries in a timely manner • Offer suggestions for system improvements and upgrades
