Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Policy Analyst to join the State of Oregon's Office of the Governor. This individual will be responsible for driving policy initiatives and ensuring they are successful in reaching their goals. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong research and analytical skills to make an impact on Oregon's policy landscape.The successful candidate will have a solid background in policy analysis, research, and stakeholder engagement. They should also have experience working in government or a related field and have an understanding of the processes involved in crafting, implementing, and evaluating public policy initiatives. Ideally, this person will be a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement policy initiatives for the State of Oregon and its Office of the Governor.
  2. Research and analyze public policy initiatives and their potential impacts.
  3. Engage with various stakeholders to ensure policy initiatives are successful.
  4. Monitor public policy initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness.
  5. Create reports and presentations to communicate outcomes of policy initiatives.
  6. Work with government officials and other stakeholders to craft, implement, and evaluate public policy initiatives.
  7. Remain current with the latest developments in policy analysis and public policy initiatives.
  8. Leverage creative thinking and communication skills to find solutions and drive positive outcomes.
  9. Work in a team environment to ensure successful policy initiatives.
