Responsibilities of a Senior Construction Inspector:
- Oversee and inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes
- Monitor the progress of projects, inspect materials used, and investigate and respond to inquiries from contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Use expertise in construction and engineering to ensure the accuracy of all projects
- Ensure that all projects are completed in a timely fashion
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections and other related tasks
- Communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance and support to staff and contractors
- Be available to answer any questions about the progress and status of projects
- Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure the safety of workers and other stakeholders
- Report any issues or violations to the appropriate authorities
