- Help maintain and protect natural resources in the park through activities such as trail maintenance, wildlife monitoring, and litter removal.
- Assist with park programs and events, including leading educational tours and activities.

Knowledge Of Park Operations And Regulations: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Park Rules And Regulations, As Well As How Park Facilities And Operations Are Managed. Experience In Customer Service: As A Seasonal Park Ranger Assistant, You Will Interact With A Diverse Group Of Park Visitors On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Having Previous Experience In Customer Service Is Essential. This Includes Excellent Communication Skills, The Ability To Handle Difficult Situations With Patience And Professionalism, And A Positive Attitude.
Physical Fitness And Outdoor Skills: This Job Requires Spending A Significant Amount Of Time Outdoors, Often In Rugged Terrain And Varying Weather Conditions. It Is Important For Candidates To Have Good Physical Fitness And Outdoor Skills To Perform Tasks Such As Hiking, Trail Maintenance, And Emergency Response.
