Job Description

The State of Oregon is looking for a driven and knowledgeable Quality Control Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that State of Oregon programs and activities adhere to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. You must have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as an attention to detail to succeed in this role. Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor State of Oregon programs and activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  2. Develop internal processes and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
  3. Develop and implement controls to identify and correct non-compliance issues.
  4. Investigate violations of compliance regulations and take appropriate actions.
  5. Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of compliance regulations.
  6. Monitor changes in legislation and ensure that all processes and systems are updated accordingly.
  7. Provide advice and training to staff on compliance matters.
  8. Assist in the preparation of reports and other documents to support compliance activities.
  9. Follow up on non-compliance issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  10. Assist in the development of a comprehensive compliance program.
