1. Maintain and enhance the natural and cultural resources of Oregon's parks.
2. Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of park visitors and resources.
3. Educate visitors on park rules and regulations, as well as the importance of preserving and protecting natural resources.
4. Provide excellent customer service to visitors, including answering questions, giving directions, and assisting with park activities and events.
5. Conduct routine maintenance and upkeep of park facilities, such as restrooms, trails, and campgrounds.
6. Perform daily tasks, such as collecting fees, issuing permits, and completing reports.
7. Collaborate with park staff and other agencies to plan and implement programs and events.
8. Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid, if necessary.
9. Assist in the enforcement of park rules and regulations, including issuing citations and handling difficult situations.
10. Serve as a positive role model for park visitors by promoting responsible and ethical use of park resources.
