  3. Collaborate with attorneys and other legal professionals to develop case strategies and provide support in court.
  4. Conduct thorough and accurate legal research using various resources, including online databases and legal publications.
  5. Prepare legal documents, such as briefs, motions, and pleadings, ensuring they are error-free and submitted in a timely manner.
  6. Organize and maintain case files, including electronic and physical documents, ensuring all information is easily accessible and up-to-date.
  7. Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
  8. Assist with the coordination of meetings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  9. Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient and timely completion of legal work.
  10. Uphold the values and mission of the State of Oregon, promoting fairness, justice, and equality in all aspects of legal work.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of work.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations.
  13. Provide administrative support as needed, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.
  14. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure effective communication and coordination of legal matters.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by attorneys and legal team members.
