- Conduct detailed analysis of statewide policies and operations to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement strategies for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of government operations.
- Stay current on state and federal policies, regulations, and legislation to ensure compliance and inform decision-making.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate analysis findings and recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned policy areas and provide guidance and support to colleagues and external partners.
- Conduct research and gather data to inform policy development and decision-making processes.
- Participate in meetings and discussions with government officials, stakeholders, and community members to gather input and feedback on policies and operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures to improve government operations.
- Monitor and track progress and outcomes of policies and operations, and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of analysis, recommendations, and outcomes.
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development to enhance job performance and contribute to the team's success.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Public Policy, Economics, Or Business Administration.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Policy Analysis And Development, Preferably In A Government Setting.
Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Gather And Interpret Data, Identify Trends, And Make Informed Recommendations.
Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Effectively Present Complex Information To A Variety Of Audiences.
Familiarity With State And Federal Laws, Regulations, And Policies Related To The Specific Area Of Focus For The Position, Such As Transportation, Environmental Policy, Or Healthcare.
