- Conduct research and analysis on current policies and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement effective policies and procedures that align with the goals and objectives of the State of Oregon.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather information and insights on current policies and procedures.
- Analyze data and present findings to inform decision-making processes.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented policies and procedures, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Stay updated on state and federal laws and regulations to ensure compliance in policy development and implementation.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members and superiors to effectively implement policies and procedures.
- Facilitate training and workshops to educate staff on new policies and procedures.
- Develop reports and presentations to communicate policy changes and their impact to stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on policy development and implementation, providing guidance and assistance to colleagues as needed.
- Continuously assess and improve processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Uphold the values and mission of the State of Oregon in all aspects of work.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Policy, Economics, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Government Policy Analysis, Operations Management, Or A Related Field.
Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Synthesize Complex Data And Information.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Present Findings And Recommendations To Diverse Stakeholders.
Knowledge And Understanding Of State And Federal Policies And Regulations, As Well As Experience Working With Government Agencies.
