
Mental Health Security Technician
The State of Oregon is looking for an experienced Mental Health Security Technician to join our team and help protect the safety and well-being of our clients. We are seeking an individual who is professional, reliable and committed to providing top-notch security services. The successful candidate will possess strong communication, problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as an understanding of the laws and regulations pertaining to mental health security. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, preferably supplemented with additional training related to security operations. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain secure environments for mental health clients
- Respond to emergency situations in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct regular security checks to ensure safety and well-being
- Investigate and document incidents of security violations
- Train and supervise security staff
- Provide customer service and support to clients
- Maintain knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to mental health security
- Develop and implement security protocols
- Prepare incident reports and other related documents
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as needed
High School Diploma Or Ged
Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills
Current Certification In Oregon As A Security Officer Or Private Investigator
Knowledge Of Security Systems And Policy Procedures
Ability To Pass A Pre-Employment Background Check And Drug Screen
Ability To Pass Security Clearance And Fingerprinting
