
Mental Health Registered Nurse
The State of Oregon is seeking an experienced Mental Health Registered Nurse with a passion for providing quality healthcare to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals with mental health needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in an inpatient mental health setting, as well as a strong commitment to providing culturally competent care. The successful candidate must possess a current Oregon Registered Nurse license and be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.The Mental Health Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care to individuals with mental health needs, focusing on patient assessment, treatment planning, coordination of care, and patient education. A strong sense of interpersonal skills, creativity, problem solving, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities:
-Provide direct nursing care to individuals with mental health needs -Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans -Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and mental health professionals -Educate patients about their condition and treatment options -Provide culturally competent care -Maintain accurate records and document patient progress -Administer medications and treatments as prescribed -Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed -Utilize interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients -Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety and privacy protocols -Work independently and in a team setting to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
