
Livestock Brand Inspector
The State of Oregon is seeking an experienced and dedicated Livestock Brand Inspector to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Inspect livestock brands to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide knowledgeable and courteous customer service to all livestock owners.
- Conduct inspections in a timely and efficient manner to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections, including brand numbers, animal health information and any other related data.
- Provide expert guidance and advice to livestock owners on a variety of topics related to animal health, livestock branding and inspection protocols.
- Resolve complaints and disputes in a professional and timely manner.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including animal owners, federal and state agencies, and other affected parties.
- Work independently and collaboratively with other inspectors and administrators to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities.
