- Develop and implement inclusive education policies and procedures to ensure equal access to education for all students.
- Collaborate with school districts and educators to provide guidance and support in creating inclusive learning environments.
- Conduct trainings and workshops for teachers and staff on inclusive practices and strategies.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement in inclusion practices.
- Provide individualized support and resources to students with diverse learning needs.
- Monitor and track progress towards inclusive education goals and report findings to department leadership.
- Stay current on research, laws, and best practices related to inclusive education.
- Advocate for students with diverse backgrounds and abilities within the education system.
- Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to promote inclusive education initiatives.
- Serve as a resource and point of contact for inquiries and concerns related to inclusive education.
- Participate in department meetings and committees to contribute to overall education goals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of inclusion efforts and student progress.
- Support the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote equity and inclusivity within the department.
- Continuously evaluate and improve inclusion practices based on feedback, data, and emerging trends.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Special Education, School Psychology, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Working With Individuals With Disabilities, Preferably In A School Setting.
Knowledge Of Laws And Regulations Related To Special Education And Inclusion, Including Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (Idea) And Section 504.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Stakeholders Including Students, Parents, Teachers, And Administrators.
Strong Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices For Supporting Inclusive Education And Promoting Positive Outcomes For Students With Disabilities.
