Job Description

The State of Oregon is looking for an experienced and motivated Human Resource Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our organization as well as improving our overall HR functions. We are seeking a candidate who has a passion for Human Resources and a desire to make a meaningful contribution to our organization.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, plus three years of experience in HR management or analysis. They must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices. Additionally, they must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and have the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement Human Resources strategies, policies, and procedures.
  2. Analyze Human Resources data and metrics to identify areas of improvement.
  3. Create reports to monitor and track HR trends and activities.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop effective HR solutions.
  5. Provide support and guidance on HR-related matters.
  6. Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal employment laws.
  7. Maintain confidential employee records and documentation.
  8. Resolve employee relations issues and ensure a positive work environment.
  9. Monitor and review job descriptions and job postings.
  10. Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
