Job Description

The State of Oregon is looking for a talented and experienced Human Resources Generalist who will be an integral part of our team. This position requires a self-starter with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about developing a positive work environment and values diversity. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success in HR management and possess the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

-Manage recruitment and onboarding processes for new hires, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding -Create and implement HR policies and procedures -Maintain HR records and databases -Provide guidance and advice to employees on personnel matters -Develop and administer performance management and employee relations programs -Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations related to HR -Organize and facilitate employee training programs -Manage employee benefits and compensation programs -Work with department heads to ensure HR initiatives are aligned with the organization's goals -Identify areas of improvement and suggest solutions to optimize workflows -Create and analyze relevant HR metrics to identify potential issues and opportunities -Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to determine trends in employee retention -Remain up to date on current HR trends, best practices, and developments
