- Develop and implement policies and programs to address homelessness and housing instability throughout the state of Oregon.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Housing Stabilization Division in collaboration with the Director.
- Manage and lead a team of professionals to achieve division goals and objectives.
- Identify and analyze emerging housing and homelessness issues and develop proactive solutions.
- Collaborate with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of division programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- Prepare and present reports, presentations, and other materials related to division activities.
- Communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including elected officials, community members, and other agencies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to advance the division's goals.
- Manage division budget and resources effectively.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to housing and homelessness.
- Represent the division and state in meetings, conferences, and other events related to housing and homelessness.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and promotes teamwork and collaboration.
- Provide support and guidance to staff, including coaching, training, and professional development opportunities.
Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Public Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Housing Stability Programs And Services.
Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Housing Laws And Regulations.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With Experience Overseeing A Team.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Stakeholders And Community Partners.
