  1. Develop and implement policies and programs to address homelessness and housing instability throughout the state of Oregon.
  2. Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Housing Stabilization Division in collaboration with the Director.
  3. Manage and lead a team of professionals to achieve division goals and objectives.
  4. Identify and analyze emerging housing and homelessness issues and develop proactive solutions.
  5. Collaborate with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective solutions.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of division programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  8. Prepare and present reports, presentations, and other materials related to division activities.
  9. Communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including elected officials, community members, and other agencies.
  10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to advance the division's goals.
  11. Manage division budget and resources effectively.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to housing and homelessness.
  13. Represent the division and state in meetings, conferences, and other events related to housing and homelessness.
  14. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and promotes teamwork and collaboration.
  15. Provide support and guidance to staff, including coaching, training, and professional development opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Public Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Housing Stability Programs And Services.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With Experience Overseeing A Team.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Stakeholders And Community Partners.
