  3. Utilize various tools and equipment to complete maintenance tasks, such as shovels, rakes, and power tools.
  4. Operate heavy machinery, such as trucks and snowplows, to clear roads and perform maintenance tasks.
  5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of necessary materials, equipment, and supplies for maintenance tasks.
  6. Communicate and coordinate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of maintenance projects.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance tasks to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
  8. Respond to emergency situations, such as accidents or severe weather, to assist with road closures and clean-up efforts.
  9. Keep accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities, including materials used and time spent on tasks.
  10. Continuously assess and improve maintenance processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Provide excellent customer service to the community by responding to inquiries and concerns about highway maintenance.
