- Coordinate and facilitate group activities and events for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Ensure the smooth and successful implementation of group life programs.
- Develop and maintain a schedule of activities and events for individuals with disabilities.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to plan and execute group events.
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities during group activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of group activities and participant attendance.
- Communicate effectively with individuals with disabilities, their families, and service providers.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during group activities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve group life programs to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in the field of developmental disabilities.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations and policies related to the provision of services for individuals with disabilities.
- Encourage and promote inclusion, independence, and community engagement for individuals with disabilities.
- Act as a positive role model and advocate for individuals with disabilities.
- Provide support and guidance to volunteers and staff assisting with group activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Coordinating Group Life Programs, Preferably In A Government Or Public Sector Setting.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Group Life Insurance And Benefits.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Communicate Complex Information To Diverse Audiences.
Experience With Data Analysis And Project Management, Including The Ability To Develop And Monitor Budgets, Track Program Metrics, And Make Data-Driven Decisions.
