Facility and Maintenance Specialist

The State of Oregon is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Facility and Maintenance Specialist to join our team and help maintain our facilities. This position requires a deep understanding of technical maintenance, excellent customer service, and a commitment to upholding the highest safety standards. Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive maintenance plans for all facilities • Identify and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues • Monitor facilities for safety hazards and take appropriate corrective action • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems • Inspect and evaluate facility conditions and make recommendations for repairs and improvements • Provide technical assistance to facility users and staff, as needed • Create records of maintenance activities and equipment performance • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of parts and supplies • Follow local, state, and federal safety regulations • Coordinate with outside contractors to ensure work is completed in a timely manner • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
