Direct Support Crisis Specialist

The State of Oregon is seeking a Direct Support Crisis Specialist to join our dynamic team! This role will provide critical support to individuals in crisis and their families. Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to communication from individuals and families in crisis and provide direct support services
• Develop and implement crisis and safety plans as needed
• Assess needs and situation of individuals and families in crisis, and provide appropriate interventions and referrals
• Utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with individuals and families in crisis
• Document assessments, interventions, and referrals in accordance with program policies and procedures
• Provide advocacy services to individuals and families in crisis as needed
• Participate in team meetings and trainings as required
• Maintain strict confidentiality when working with individuals in crisis and their families
