Job Description

The State of Oregon is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Customer Service Manager to join our team. We are looking for a professional with the ability to provide leadership and manage a team of customer service representatives. The ideal candidate will be organized, have excellent problem-solving skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service excellence.The Customer Service Manager will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, developing and maintaining customer service policies and procedures, and managing the day-to-day activities of the customer service team. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate must possess at least five years of customer service experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, and a track record of success in delivering customer service excellence. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of customer service principles and the ability to develop and implement customer service strategies. Responsibilities of the Customer Service Manager:

  1. Provide excellent customer service to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Develop and maintain customer service policies and procedures.
  3. Manage the day-to-day activities of the customer service team.
  4. Ensure customer complaints and inquiries are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
  5. Maintain and analyze customer service metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.
  6. Monitor customer service representative performance and provide feedback.
  7. Develop and implement customer service strategies to improve customer service delivery.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
  9. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  10. Train and mentor customer service representatives to ensure high levels of customer service.
