- Conduct day-to-day administrative tasks to support the efficient functioning of the court system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of court cases and proceedings.
- Communicate with judges, attorneys, and other court staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Schedule and coordinate court hearings, meetings, and conferences.
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents and court orders.
- Respond to inquiries from the public and provide information on court procedures and processes.
- Collaborate with court staff to develop and implement new policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage court calendars and deadlines.
- Manage and maintain court filing systems.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and court policies.
- Train and supervise support staff on court procedures and protocols.
- Manage and process payments, fees, and fines related to court cases.
- Participate in court proceedings as needed.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to court operations for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other court departments and external agencies to exchange information and resources.
- Handle any other duties as assigned by the court administrator.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, Or A Related Field.
Knowledge Of Court Procedures And Legal Terminology.
Experience In A Court Setting Or Legal Field Preferred.
Strong Computer Skills And Proficiency In Microsoft Office.
