Job Description

As the Corrections Physician Specialist, Psychiatrist at the State of Oregon, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those in our corrections system. Our Corrections Physician Specialist, Psychiatrist must have the necessary qualifications to provide mental health care to the incarcerated population. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide mental health care to the incarcerated population.
  2. Diagnose and treat mental health issues.
  3. Monitor and evaluate patient progress.
  4. Develop and implement treatment plans.
  5. Provide crisis intervention and preventive care services.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
  7. Maintain accurate patient records.
  8. Remain up-to-date with advances in the field of psychiatry.
  9. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Remain sensitive to cultural differences.

  • Board Certified Psychiatrist

  • Oregon Medical License
