Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Correctional Facility: Candidates For The Correctional Corporal Position Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Correctional Facility, Preferably In A Supervisory Role. This Will Ensure That They Have A Good Understanding Of The Rules, Regulations, And Procedures Of A Correctional Facility.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws: The Job Of A Correctional Corporal Requires A Thorough Understanding Of State And Federal Laws Related To The Corrections System. Candidates Should Have A Strong Knowledge Of These Laws And Be Able To Apply Them Effectively In Their Day-To-Day Work.
