
Child Protective Services (CPS) Assessment Worker

Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough assessments of the safety and wellbeing of Oregon children and families in need of assistance.
- Utilize strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Utilize empathy and professionalism when dealing with difficult and stressful situations.
- Develop and implement service plans with families to ensure that the safety of the child and family is maintained.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as law enforcement, mental health professionals, and school personnel to ensure that the best interests of Oregon children are served.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments and services provided.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and remain current on all Oregon Child Protective Services policies and procedures.
