  1. Design, install, and maintain building automation systems in state buildings to ensure their efficient and safe operation.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with building automation systems, utilizing specialized tools and equipment.
  3. Develop and implement maintenance and repair plans for building automation systems.
  4. Collaborate with other team members and departments to identify and address any operational issues or concerns.
  5. Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of building automation systems to ensure they are functioning properly and in compliance with regulations.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in building automation systems to ensure the state's facilities are utilizing the most efficient and effective technology.
  7. Train and educate other team members or building staff on the proper use and maintenance of building automation systems.
  8. Monitor and analyze data from building automation systems to identify potential problems and implement solutions.
  9. Develop and maintain documentation and records related to building automation systems and their maintenance.
  10. Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for the installation and repair of building automation systems.
  11. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  12. Act as a liaison between the state and building automation system manufacturers for warranty claims, repairs, and upgrades.
  13. Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay informed on policies, procedures, and initiatives related to building automation systems.
  14. Provide recommendations for upgrades or improvements to building automation systems to enhance their performance and functionality.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or department.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Working With Building Automation Systems.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Codes, Such As Ashrae, Nec, And Nfpa.

  • Experience With Programming, Troubleshooting, And Maintaining Building Automation Systems.

  • Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively In A Team Environment.
