Job Description

This position will provide therapeutic recreational activities within an established recreational program at a long-term care facility, to improve and enhance resident's coordination, motor skills and cognitive level as part of the resident's treatment plan. By conducting recreation activities with groups or one to one, by organizing and promoting activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, games, music, dramatics, social recreation, camping, and hobbies, taking into account the needs and interests of individual members.

Job Qualifications
  • At least 3 months of experience in conducting, planning, organizing and directing recreational activities.

  • Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or the ability to pass
