- Maintain accurate and organized records of all collection activities and progress.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to gather information and support collection efforts.
- Follow all state and federal laws and regulations regarding debt collection practices.
- Monitor and report on collection performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide excellent customer service to debtors and handle any inquiries or disputes with professionalism and empathy.
- Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency in revenue collections.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance in collection efforts.
- Work closely with legal counsel when necessary to pursue legal action against non-compliant debtors.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Represent the state government in a professional manner and uphold its values and mission.

Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Revenue Collections Or Accounts Receivable Management.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws, Regulations, And Policies Related To Revenue Collection.
Ability To Work Independently And Handle Confidential Information With Discretion.
