- Coordinate and administer regional planning grants, including reviewing applications, distributing funds, and monitoring progress and compliance.
- Communicate with local governments and organizations to provide guidance and support in their regional planning efforts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community leaders.
- Collaborate with other state agencies to align regional planning efforts with statewide goals and initiatives.
- Conduct research and analyze data to inform decision-making and identify areas of need for regional planning grants.
- Prepare reports and presentations on the impact and effectiveness of regional planning grants.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to grant administration.
- Manage budgets and financial records for regional planning grants.
- Stay current on best practices and trends in regional planning and make recommendations for improvement.
- Act as a liaison between the state government and local communities, advocating for the importance of regional planning and the benefits it brings to communities.
Bachelor's Degree In Urban Or Regional Planning, Public Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Grant Administration, Preferably In A Government Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Grant Regulations And Procedures.
Excellent Organizational And Project Management Skills.
Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Group Of Stakeholders.
