
Policy and Program Analyst

- Conduct thorough research and analysis of existing policies and programs to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and subject matter experts, to gather information and insights.
- Develop and present policy recommendations based on research findings and stakeholder feedback.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of current policies and programs and make recommendations for changes if needed.
- Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments to inform policy and program analysis.
- Communicate complex policy and program information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
- Write reports, memos, and other materials to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement policy and program changes and monitor their progress.
- Monitor and assess the outcomes of policy and program changes, and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with other policy and program analysts to share best practices and ensure consistency across initiatives.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all policy and program analysis and recommendations.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and develop strategies to enhance the effectiveness of policies and programs.
- Represent the State of Minnesota in meetings, conferences, and other events related to policy and program analysis.
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Stay committed to the mission and values of the organization and uphold professional standards at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience Conducting Research And Analysis On Policy Issues.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Government Processes And Regulations.
Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Present Complex Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.
