- Conduct thorough reviews of healthcare facilities to ensure compliance with MAWQCP standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and facility staff to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
- Utilize quality improvement methodologies to track and analyze data on facility performance.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare facilities, state officials, and other stakeholders regarding MAWQCP requirements and updates.
- Conduct on-site visits and audits to evaluate facility processes and procedures.
- Identify and report any potential risks or deficiencies in facility operations and make recommendations for corrective action.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices in healthcare quality assurance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of facility reviews and findings.
- Provide training and resources to healthcare facilities to help them meet MAWQCP standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality care within healthcare facilities.
- Serve as a liaison between the state and healthcare facilities to ensure compliance with MAWQCP standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategies for improving the MAWQCP program.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the performance of duties.
- Represent the state and the MAWQCP program in a professional and positive manner.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Water Quality Certification Programs, Such As The Clean Water Act Or The National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System.
Strong Understanding Of State And Federal Regulations Pertaining To Water Quality And Certification Processes.
Experience In Conducting Site Inspections, Reviewing Permit Applications, And Evaluating Compliance With Water Quality Standards.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And Collaborate With A Variety Of Stakeholders, Including Government Agencies, Private Companies, And Environmental Groups.
