  1. Operate and maintain various hand and power tools to perform tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
  2. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on state-owned facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
  3. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
  4. Work collaboratively with a team to complete assigned duties efficiently and effectively.
  5. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to report progress and any potential issues.
  6. Adhere to state and federal regulations and guidelines when performing tasks related to hazardous materials and waste.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, as well as properly storing equipment and materials.
  8. Assist in the construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, and other state-owned infrastructure.
  9. Operate heavy machinery, such as tractors, forklifts, and backhoes, as needed.
  10. Participate in training and development opportunities to improve job skills and knowledge.
  11. Work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing work environments.
  12. Provide excellent customer service to citizens and visitors of the state.
  13. Uphold the values and mission of the State of Minnesota through your work ethic and behavior.
  14. Attend and actively participate in team and safety meetings.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
