- Develop and implement job coaching strategies to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving their career goals.
- Conduct assessments to identify the strengths and needs of individuals with disabilities and create personalized employment plans.
- Provide guidance and support to individuals with disabilities in navigating the job search process, including resume writing, job applications, and interviewing skills.
- Collaborate with other team members and community resources to identify and secure job opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
- Monitor and evaluate individual progress, providing ongoing coaching and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of individual progress, services provided, and outcomes achieved.
- Advocate for individuals with disabilities and promote inclusive and accessible workplaces.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in job coaching and disability employment services.
- Communicate effectively with individuals with disabilities, their families, employers, and other stakeholders.
- Comply with all state and federal regulations and policies related to disability employment services.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of individuals with disabilities.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Counseling, Psychology, Or Human Resources.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Career Counseling, Job Coaching, Or Related Field.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Employment Laws, Regulations, And Resources.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Work With Diverse Populations.
Certification As A Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (Crc) Or Certified Employment Support Professional (Cesp) Is Preferred.
