Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of IT systems to ensure their functionality, reliability, and effectiveness.
- Utilize testing tools and methodologies to identify and report any issues or bugs found during testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to understand system requirements and develop test plans.
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and procedures to thoroughly test all aspects of the system.
- Document and track defects and work with developers to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Participate in design and code reviews to provide valuable insights for improving system quality and reliability.
- Analyze and interpret test results to provide recommendations for enhancements or improvements to the system.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies to ensure efficient and effective testing.
- Provide training and support to junior team members and assist with their professional development.
- Maintain a strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies to ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure timely and accurate completion of testing tasks.
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
- Proactively identify potential risks and issues and work with the team to mitigate them.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Software Quality Assurance And Testing, Preferably In A Government Or Large Organization.
Strong Knowledge Of Software Development Life Cycle And Testing Methodologies.
Experience With Automated Testing Tools And Techniques.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
