- Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.
- Ensure that all areas of the building, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, are kept clean and sanitized.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors on a regular basis.
- Clean and disinfect surfaces, including desks, tables, and counters.
- Restock and replenish supplies, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures.
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be reordered.
- Communicate with fellow team members to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Assist with setting up and cleaning up for meetings and events.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with employees and visitors.
- Uphold the organization's standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Possess a strong attention to detail and take pride in the quality of work.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement To Work As A Housekeeper At The State Of Minnesota Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Previous Experience In Housekeeping Or Related Field: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In Housekeeping Or A Related Field, Such As Janitorial Services Or Hotel Housekeeping.
Knowledge Of Cleaning Techniques And Products: A Thorough Understanding Of Different Cleaning Techniques And Products Is Essential For A Housekeeper To Efficiently And Effectively Maintain Cleanliness And Hygiene.
Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: Housekeeping Can Be Physically Demanding, And Candidates Should Be Able To Stand For Long Periods, Bend, Lift, And Carry Heavy Objects.
Attention To Detail And Time Management Skills: Housekeepers Must Pay Close Attention To Detail And Have Good Time Management Skills To Complete Tasks Within A Designated Timeframe. This Is Especially Important In A Fast-Paced Environment, Such As A Busy Government Building.
