  1. Provide exceptional technical support to all employees of the State of Minnesota.
  2. Serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related inquiries and issues.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently and effectively.
  4. Train and mentor team members to ensure consistently high-quality support services.
  5. Maintain and update knowledge base and documentation for commonly asked questions and issues.
  6. Communicate with team members and management regarding technical issues, trends, and solutions.
  7. Collaborate with other IT departments and teams to ensure seamless integration and resolution of issues.
  8. Develop and implement procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and effectiveness of technical support.
  9. Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in order to provide the best support possible.
  10. Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of all inquiries and issues.
  11. Lead and manage the help desk team, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and goal setting.
  12. Monitor and analyze help desk performance metrics and make recommendations for improvement.
  13. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and applications.
  14. Act as a liaison between the help desk team and other departments to ensure open communication and collaboration.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the overall help desk process to ensure maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Help Desk Or Technical Support Role, Preferably In A Government Or Large Organization Setting.

  • Strong Technical Knowledge And Proficiency In Troubleshooting Computer Hardware, Software, And Network Issues.

  • Excellent Customer Service And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Users.

  • Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Help Desk Technicians, Including Delegating Tasks, Providing Guidance, And Resolving Conflicts.

  • Knowledge Of Itil Best Practices And Experience With It Service Management Tools, Such As Servicenow, To Track And Manage Customer Requests And Incidents.
