  1. Prepare and serve meals to employees and visitors in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including food preparation areas and dining areas.
  3. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our customers.
  4. Assist in menu planning and food ordering to ensure adequate supply for meals.
  5. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation of the dining facility.
  6. Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and addressing any concerns or complaints in a professional and friendly manner.
  7. Collaborate with team members to set up and break down dining areas, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
  8. Monitor and maintain inventory of food and supplies, restocking as needed.
  9. Adhere to all state and federal food service regulations and guidelines.
  10. Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations.
  11. Complete all tasks and duties assigned by supervisors in a timely and efficient manner.
  12. Participate in training programs and staff meetings to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  13. Cooperate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  14. Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, representing the organization in a positive manner.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Ged: A Food Service Worker At State Of Minnesota Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged Equivalent.

  • Food Safety Certification: An Applicant Should Have A Valid Food Safety Certification Such As Servsafe, Which Demonstrates Their Knowledge And Understanding Of Safe Food Handling Practices.

  • Previous Experience: Previous Experience Working In A Food Service Or Hospitality Setting Is Preferred For This Position. This Could Include Roles Such As A Server, Cook, Or Kitchen Assistant.

  • Physical Requirements: This Job May Involve Standing For Long Periods Of Time, Lifting Heavy Objects, And Working In A Fast-Paced Environment. Applicants Should Be Physically Capable Of Meeting These Requirements.
